Role at a glance
We are looking for a Senior Manufacturing Technician to join our team in Alameda. This is a full-time, on-site position where you will play a critical role in the production of the core components that power our technology. You will work directly with our engineering team to refine our manufacturing processes and ensure our production line runs smoothly.
Your impact
- Collaborate with engineers to operate and improve production processes, providing direct feedback on performance and functional features to boost efficiency.
- Master the operation of a first-of-its-kind manufacturing line while documenting your learning to help refine our standard operating procedures.
- Execute a variety of manufacturing tasks, including material mixing, custom mold building, part casting, and component packaging, all while maintaining strict adherence to safety protocols.
What you'll need
- A strong background in industrial automation, robotics, CNC machinery, or electronics.
- Practical experience safely operating machine shop tools, power tools, and heavy equipment.
- Excellent attention to detail and a curious mindset regarding how complex machines function.
- Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
- The physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and a genuine desire to work in a collaborative team environment.
- Certifications for heavy equipment like forklifts or experience with welding are considered a significant plus.
