We are currently seeking a Manager of Video Production to report to our Media Director and lead our creative team in shaping our video content strategy.
Key outcomes
- Develop and execute a comprehensive video strategy that supports our brand objectives and engages customers throughout their entire journey.
- Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of video editors while fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented environment.
- Oversee the full lifecycle of video projects, from initial concept and scriptwriting to final post-production.
- Manage project priorities, timelines, and production budgets to ensure high-quality results are delivered efficiently.
- Maintain brand consistency across all video assets and optimize our presence on platforms like YouTube.
- Collaborate across departments to produce customer-facing content, including webcasts and testimonials.
- Monitor video performance analytics to inform future strategy and content improvements.
- Manage our media library to ensure all assets are properly archived and accessible.
Requirements
- At least 7 years of professional experience in video and written content creation, including hands-on filming and editing.
- Proven experience in a management or leadership role overseeing video editors.
- Technical proficiency in operating production equipment, including audio, lighting, and camera setups.
- Advanced skills in video and audio editing software, specifically the Adobe Creative Suite.
- Strong expertise in motion graphics, storytelling, and the entire pre- and post-production process.
- Ability to engage in cross-functional partnerships to align creative output with broader business goals.
- Physical ability to lift between 5 and 50 pounds and perform tasks requiring manual dexterity.
- Must reside in the Salt Lake City area and be available for this on-site role, which follows a standard schedule of four 9-hour days per week.
- Willingness to travel as needed for conventions and client shoots.
Preferred qualifications
- A Bachelor’s degree in film, broadcasting, or a related field is preferred.
