What is this role?

We are seeking a Manager of Technology to join our team on a full-time basis. This is a hands-on leadership position based in our downtown Dallas office, and it requires a 5-day in-office commitment. As a manager, you will play a vital role in scaling our business by overseeing our technical infrastructure and leading our IT strategy. You will need to balance high-level planning with the ability to act as an individual contributor, ensuring our systems remain secure, efficient, and aligned with our company goals.

What will you do?

• Oversee our technology operations, including infrastructure management, data security, and the implementation of robust protocols to keep our systems running reliably.
• Provide high-quality end-user support and help desk services to ensure our internal team has a seamless experience with their technology.
• Develop and maintain critical IT documentation, such as disaster recovery, business continuity, and incident response plans, while acting as a leader for our security and cyber threat initiatives.

To succeed in this role, you should possess a strong technical background and the leadership skills to guide our IT evolution. We are looking for someone who brings the following qualifications:

• At least 5 years of experience leading IT teams, including the management of third-party consultants and service providers.
• Deep expertise in Microsoft-dominated environments, along with hands-on experience supporting Apple products.
• Proficiency with specific tools and frameworks, including Zendesk, Dynamics, SaaS solutions like Ring Central, and NIST 2.0 security standards.
• A strong grasp of network engineering, including experience with Ubiquiti equipment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present a clear technology vision to stakeholders at all levels.
• A bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field is preferred.
