We are looking for a forward-thinking leader to join our Information Technology department and help us protect the critical infrastructure that keeps the lights on.
Role at a glance
We are seeking a Manager, Technical Security to join our team on a full-time basis. This is a leadership-level position that offers a hybrid work arrangement, allowing you to balance remote work with periodic on-site collaboration based on our business needs.
Your impact
- You will lead the design, engineering, and development of our technical security infrastructure, including cloud solutions, advanced endpoint protection, and defensive platforms.
- You will oversee the security of the IT infrastructure that supports our electric grid operations, ensuring we maintain a strong posture against evolving threats.
- You will manage a talented team of security professionals, fostering an inclusive culture while handling budgeting, vendor relationships, and strategic planning.
What you'll need
To be successful in this role, you should possess a deep understanding of cyber security and a commitment to protecting enterprise assets. We are looking for someone who brings the following qualifications:
- A Bachelor’s degree in a technical field, such as Information Technology, Engineering, or Computer Science, with a Master’s degree considered a strong plus.
- At least seven years of experience in enterprise cyber security, including a minimum of three years in a leadership or supervisory capacity.
- Demonstrable expertise in security architecture, incident management, and project management, ideally with familiarity in energy sector standards.
- The ability to obtain and maintain a DHS, DOE, or DOD SECRET-level clearance.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to translate complex security risks into clear insights for both technical teams and executive leadership.
- Proficiency in English is required to interpret regulations and produce professional documentation.
