We are looking for a Manager of Systems Engineering to lead and inspire our distributed teams as they integrate and support essential legal and privacy systems within the NBCUniversal architecture. Responsibilities
- Build and maintain a high-performing engineering culture by managing team performance, providing coaching, and facilitating professional development.
- Execute staffing plans and foster a collaborative environment that attracts and retains top-tier global engineering talent.
- Modernize our legal technology landscape by integrating SaaS and COTS applications into a unified architecture.
- Oversee the implementation of privacy consent management across our web, mobile, and CTV platforms to ensure we remain secure by design.
- Partner with software engineering and product management teams to maintain a singular vision for our product architecture.
- Establish clear metrics, including OKRs and value-based indicators, to track progress and ensure operational excellence.
- Promote automation and consistency throughout the engineering lifecycle while providing site reliability engineering resources.
Must-haves
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
- At least 6 years of experience in software development or integration engineering.
- Minimum of 2 years in an engineering leadership role with decision-making responsibilities.
- Proven track record of integrating and managing legal and privacy content management platform applications.
- Strong expertise in integrating large-scale SaaS and COTS applications within a secure corporate environment.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across both technical and business teams.
- Proficiency in English.
- Ability to work in a fully remote capacity within the United States.

- Experience providing operational support through Site Reliability Engineering practices.
- Strong background in vendor management, contract negotiations, and capacity planning.
- A product ownership mindset with a history of successful planning and delivery.
Benefits
The salary range for this position is $130,000 to $190,000.
