The opportunity

We are seeking a Manager, Software Engineering to lead our Platform team. This group is the engine behind our publisher-facing web portal, which allows our customers to leverage a wide array of products in a fast-paced, startup-like environment. In this role, you will act as a bridge between high-level business goals and technical execution. While you will spend less time writing code yourself, you will remain deeply involved in technical strategy, helping to clear roadblocks, mentor your team, and ensure that we continue to deliver high-quality software and APIs that provide real value to our users.

A day in the life

• You will oversee the engineering management and mentorship of a full-stack, agile team, focusing on hiring and onboarding new talent while fostering a culture of technical excellence.
• You will partner closely with product and creative teams to translate functional requirements into robust technical designs, ensuring our roadmap is executed effectively.
• You will manage the entire software development lifecycle, tracking key metrics like cycle time and team velocity to ensure we are delivering incremental value while maintaining high standards of quality.

Who you are

You are a seasoned leader with at least 5 years of experience in software engineering, including at least 2 years in a management capacity. You possess a deep understanding of web services and APIs, and you are comfortable working within Scrum and Agile frameworks. You have a proven track record of coaching engineers and working effectively across cross-functional teams to solve complex technical challenges. You communicate clearly in English, and you thrive in environments where you can balance personnel development with the fast-paced demands of a growing business. If you have experience with cloud platforms like AWS, containerization tools like Docker or Kubernetes, or modern web frameworks, that is a significant plus.

The base salary for this position ranges from $200,000 to $220,000 annually, with additional opportunities for bonuses and equity.
