We are Recast Software, a Minneapolis-based company whose platform helps IT teams manage and secure devices at scale. Our tools integrate with existing infrastructure to remediate issues, maintain compliance, and give organizations clear visibility across thousands of endpoints in more than 125 countries. We are now hiring a Manager, Software Engineering to lead our remote engineering teams on a full-time basis.
Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and support software development teams while building a collaborative, high-performance culture that values ownership and shared success.
- Plan and guide projects from start to finish, setting timelines, allocating resources, and ensuring delivery aligns with business goals and customer needs.
- Partner with architects, product managers, and operations to shape the technical roadmap, enforce coding standards, and keep communication clear across every stage of development.
Requirements
- Hands-on experience with the .NET tech stack and a deep understanding of software architecture, design patterns, and practices that produce scalable, maintainable systems.
- Strong background in DevOps, including CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code, and automated testing, plus proficiency with tools such as Visual Studio, Git, and Azure DevOps.
- Proven ability to lead and develop engineering teams, manage performance, apply Agile methodologies, and communicate effectively with cross-functional stakeholders while maintaining clear technical documentation.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, along with familiarity with Azure cloud services and on-premises environments.
What we offer
The salary range for this position is $135,000-$165,000, plus a 10% annual discretionary company bonus. Salary may vary based on experience, skills, and location.
