We are searching for a dedicated Manager to join our team in India on a full-time basis. At Guidewire, we provide the software that powers the property and casualty insurance industry, and we are looking for a strong technical leader to oversee our Security Operations Centre. In this hybrid role, you will be responsible for managing our SOC operations, providing deep expertise on our security technologies, and establishing clear escalation paths for critical incidents. You will also play a key role in monitoring our service levels and working with stakeholders to drive operational excellence across our security functions.
Responsibilities
- Lead and grow a team focused on detecting and responding to security incidents effectively.
- Design and implement standard operating procedures, playbooks, and templates to streamline monitoring, investigation, and reporting processes.
- Serve as a primary escalation point for complex security threats while guiding our analysts through high-severity investigations.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you should possess a strong background in information security and team leadership. We are looking for the following qualifications:
- A minimum of 9 to 12 years of professional experience, including at least 2 years in a managerial or team lead capacity.
- Demonstrated expertise in incident response within cloud-based environments like AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Strong technical knowledge of SIEM and SOAR platforms, including the ability to tune correlation rules.
- A deep understanding of the MITRE ATT&CK framework, EDR, DLP, and CASB tools.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical topics to diverse audiences.
- Professional certifications from organizations such as SANS, Offensive Security, ISC2, or major cloud providers are considered a plus.
