With a base of 1,000 customers and a clear vision for continued growth, we are looking for a Manager, Quality & Testing to join our engineering organization of over 55 talented colleagues across our hubs in Espoo, Lahti, and Poland.
Key outcomes
- Lead all aspects of our quality assurance strategy, including technical oversight, project management, and team leadership.
- Manage and mentor a team of seven QA professionals, fostering their individual growth and professional development.
- Oversee the full lifecycle of QA planning, execution, and sign-off while communicating risks and progress to stakeholders.
- Continuously improve our testing processes and documentation to ensure quality is integrated into every stage of development.
- Implement and manage effective tools for tracking testing progress and performance metrics.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure all product quality requirements are met and provide regular updates during testing cycles.
- Handle budget forecasting, resource planning, and recruitment for the QA function.
Requirements
- Proven experience in a web application environment, specifically in leading people, projects, or quality practices.
- Strong background in modern web application testing, including comprehensive test management and planning.
- Experience building efficient agile teams and improving development workflows.
- Hands-on expertise in automated testing at scale, including the design and maintenance of automated test suites.
- Practical experience with UI test automation frameworks like Robot Framework or Playwright.
- Technical proficiency in API, integration, load, and performance testing using tools such as JMeter, Locust, or OWASP.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, specifically GitHub Actions, and web development practices.
- Excellent communication skills in English and the ability to coach and facilitate team success.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
Preferred qualifications
- Coding proficiency in Python, JavaScript, or C#.
- Experience with Azure cloud environments and Docker.
