Manager, Quality Engineering at Signify Health

We are looking for a Senior Quality Engineering Manager to join our team on a full-time, remote basis. At Signify Health, we are dedicated to transforming the home into a primary hub for healthcare. By coordinating clinical, social, and behavioral care, we help individuals achieve better health outcomes and bridge critical gaps in the system. Our network of over 9,000 mobile clinicians and thousands of healthcare partners relies on our intelligent technology to simplify care for 1.5 million people annually. In this role, you will lead our quality engineering efforts, mentor talented engineers, and ensure our platforms meet the highest standards of reliability and performance.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of quality engineers, overseeing the development and execution of comprehensive testing strategies, including manual, automated, and performance testing for our APIs and applications.
• Foster a culture of technical excellence and collaboration, ensuring that quality processes are integrated seamlessly into our CI/CD pipelines and deployment workflows.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives by managing team performance, conducting career development coaching, and partnering with cross-functional stakeholders to meet our business objectives.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should possess a strong background in software engineering and people leadership. We are looking for candidates who meet the following criteria:

• At least 6 years of experience in software engineering, with 4 or more years of direct people management or team leadership experience.
• Extensive expertise in cloud-based systems, high-throughput backend infrastructure, and modern observability tooling.
• Proficiency in DevOps practices, including the ability to design deployment pipelines, and a strong command of scripting and programming languages to automate processes.
• Deep knowledge of test automation frameworks and the ability to configure and maintain complex testing environments.
• Strong communication skills and a proven track record as a hiring manager who can build and develop high-performing teams.
