Manager, Product Security Compliance at Red Hat

We are looking for a dedicated Manager, Product Security Compliance to join our team on a full-time basis at our location in the United States. At Red Hat, our Product Security Compliance team plays a vital role in upholding our security standards, managing complex controls, and ensuring we meet our enterprise obligations. This position is a fantastic opportunity for a professional who is passionate about cybersecurity and wants to lead a team that makes a tangible impact on our organizational integrity. You will be responsible for guiding our information security program, mentoring other compliance managers, and building strong relationships across our internal and external stakeholder networks.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and maintenance of our information security policies and procedures while ensuring they align with industry standards and legal requirements.
• Oversee the selection and implementation of security technologies and tools to ensure our infrastructure remains robust and protected.
• Manage and mentor a team of compliance professionals, providing the leadership necessary to navigate complex security landscapes and audit processes.

Requirements

• A bachelor’s degree in computer information systems or a related field.
• At least 4 years of experience in a management role.
• A strong understanding of information security and compliance concepts, with a preference for candidates holding a CISSP or similar industry certification.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate complex security concepts to diverse audiences, including senior management.
• Proven experience leading audits and a solid grasp of major regulatory frameworks like PCI DSS, HIPAA, or SOC 2.
• A detail-oriented mindset with the ability to manage multiple priorities independently.
