About the Role

We are looking for a Manager of Software Engineering to join our team on a full-time basis. In this role, you will be a key leader within our Shared Platform group, where you will be responsible for delivering high-quality technical services that empower our broader product ecosystem. You will balance technical oversight with people management, guiding your team of engineers to reach their full potential while ensuring our software solutions remain robust, secure, and aligned with our company vision.

Key Responsibilities

• People Management: You will build and shape your team by hiring, onboarding, and mentoring talent, while fostering a culture of psychological safety, open feedback, and professional growth.
• Technical Strategy: You will set the direction for technical excellence, managing technical debt and security while guiding the creation of elegant, simple, and scalable software architectures.
• Product Management: You will translate product vision into actionable roadmaps, managing stakeholders and overseeing the development process to ensure we deliver high-quality features on time and within budget.

Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or a related technical field.
• Proven experience in software engineering and a successful track record of leading product development from conception to launch.
• Previous experience in a managerial or leadership position, with a strong ability to build and develop high-performing teams.
• A deep understanding of the software development life cycle, agile methodologies, and project management practices.
• The ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear product requirements.
• Expertise in modern software architecture, security principles, and CI/CD processes.
• Excellent communication skills in both English and Spanish.
