Manager of IT Operations at InStride Health

We are looking for a Manager of IT Operations to join our fully remote team and help us build the technical foundation that supports our life-changing work.

Key outcomes

• Lead the IT department's operational rhythm, including sprint planning, standups, and the establishment of clear service level agreements.
• Supervise, mentor, and foster the professional growth of our IT support specialists.
• Act as the primary technical escalation point for complex troubleshooting and root-cause analysis.
• Manage our enterprise identity and access management platforms, specifically Okta, with a focus on RBAC design and automated provisioning.
• Oversee our macOS fleet and device compliance through mobile device management strategies.
• Configure and maintain core collaboration tools, including Zoom, Slack, and Jira Service Management.
• Develop automated workflows to replace manual onboarding and access request processes.
• Create reporting dashboards to track IT performance metrics and optimize operational efficiency.
• Collaborate with our security team to conduct access reviews and ensure compliance with healthcare standards.
• Implement AI-driven solutions to improve IT throughput while maintaining strict security and compliance protocols.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of progressive experience in IT operations and systems administration.
• Proven experience in a leadership role, including the direct management and development of technical staff.
• Technical expertise in identity administration, including SSO, SCIM, and RBAC architecture.
• Hands-on experience managing macOS endpoints and utilizing MDM solutions.
• Demonstrated ability to build data-driven dashboards and translate metrics into actionable insights for leadership.
• Experience working within regulated environments, such as HIPAA or SOC 2 compliance.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to manage cross-functional projects and maintain clear technical documentation.
• Familiarity with applying AI tools to enhance operational workflows securely.
• Fluency in English.

Compensation

The annual salary for this position is between $124,000 and $138,000, depending on individual experience and skill set.
