About the Role
We are looking for a Manager of Incident Response to join us in a full-time, remote capacity. In this leadership position, you will be responsible for defining and executing our incident response strategy while managing a dedicated team. You will play a critical role in ensuring our organization remains resilient against cybersecurity threats by overseeing the end-to-end lifecycle of security incidents and fostering a proactive security culture.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a comprehensive incident response strategy that aligns with our organizational goals and industry best practices.
- Lead, mentor, and manage the incident response team to encourage professional development and continuous improvement in our security operations.
- Oversee the detection, analysis, and recovery processes for security incidents while maintaining clear communication across the organization.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you should possess a strong background in information security and leadership. We are looking for the following qualifications:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field, with a Master’s degree considered a plus.
- At least 7 years of experience in information security, specifically within incident response or threat management, including a minimum of 3 years in a leadership role.
- Deep familiarity with industry-standard incident response frameworks such as NIST or SANS.
- Proficiency with essential security tools, including SIEM platforms, forensic analysis software, and incident management systems.
- Exceptional analytical and communication skills, with the ability to navigate high-pressure situations and collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, or GCIH are highly preferred.
Location
This position is remote and can be performed from anywhere.
