Manager of Financial Systems at Business Services Opportunities

We are looking for a dedicated Manager of Financial Systems to join our team on a full-time, on-site basis in the United States. In this role, you will lead our firm through the modernization of financial applications and processes. You will act as a bridge between our IT and Finance departments, ensuring that our systems provide the high level of support our partnership and business leaders expect. We need someone who is passionate about driving innovation and maintaining the integrity of our data while helping us adopt a culture of continuous improvement.

What you'll be doing

• You will collaborate with Finance and IT professionals to shape our financial systems landscape, which includes designing and delivering impactful reports and dashboards.
• You will manage the health of our systems, ensuring high data integrity while overseeing strategic planning and the engineering of business processes.
• You will serve as a subject matter expert, providing guidance, training, and documentation to stakeholders across the organization to ensure everyone can utilize our financial technology effectively.

What you'll bring

To be successful, you should hold a bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or computer science, along with at least five years of experience supporting financial systems. We prefer candidates who have worked within a law firm or a similar professional services environment. You must have a strong grasp of professional services financial processes, such as billing, accounts payable, collections, and budgeting. Proficiency in 3E is a requirement for this position.

Your technical toolkit should include:

• Strong SQL skills and advanced Excel proficiency.
• Experience working with data models and master data dictionary management.
• A deep understanding of various system integrations.
• Proven technical leadership and project management abilities.
• A commitment to data-driven decision-making.

You must also be fluent in English and possess the ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly to attorneys and other professionals.

What you'll get

The salary range for this position is $160,000 to $175,000 USD. The final offer will depend on your specific qualifications, years of relevant experience, education, and professional certifications.
