We are currently looking for a hands-on IT Operations Manager to oversee our daily technical functions and ensure our infrastructure remains reliable, efficient, and secure.
Key outcomes
- Direct the daily operations of our IT systems to provide effective technical support for all users across our infrastructure.
- Design and enforce IT policies that prioritize system reliability, data security, and regulatory compliance.
- Partner with senior leadership to ensure our IT infrastructure directly supports the broader strategic goals of our organization.
- Lead IT projects from conception to completion, ensuring they remain within scope and budget.
- Manage hardware and software provisioning, including user access and technical support.
- Maintain high service standards by establishing and monitoring organizational benchmarks.
- Protect company assets by overseeing network security, data backups, and access controls.
- Proactively identify technical issues and implement strategic, timely solutions.
- Conduct regular audits of systems and user access controls to assess performance and security.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive disaster recovery plans.
- Manage relationships and contracts with our various IT vendors.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of professional experience in system administration, IT operations, or infrastructure services.
- Proficiency with Google Workspace, Okta, Jira, Confluence, Microsoft 365, Zoom, and Slack.
- Proven success in managing IT projects.
- Comprehensive knowledge of cloud services, network infrastructure, and hardware or software systems.
- Solid understanding of information security best practices and IT governance.
- Familiarity with ITSM frameworks such as ITIL or COBIT.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical staff.
- Availability to address urgent IT needs outside of standard business hours.
Preferred qualifications
- Professional certifications such as PMP or ITIL.
