We are seeking a Manager for our Asia SME business in Singapore to lead, mentor, and drive the performance of our inside sales team. Convera is the world's largest non-bank B2B cross-border payments company, helping over 30,000 customers ranging from small businesses to global institutions move money more effectively through our advanced technology solutions.
Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a team of 8 to 10 inside sales representatives, acting as a player-coach to ensure targets are consistently met or exceeded.
- Develop and implement sales strategies that drive revenue growth and expand our share of wallet.
- Monitor key performance indicators, including call volume and conversion rates, to refine sales funnels and optimize team output.
- Identify skill gaps and provide ongoing training on sales techniques, product knowledge, and industry trends.
- Foster a high-performance culture by conducting regular one-on-one meetings, performance reviews, and setting clear, actionable goals.
- Manage sales pipelines and lead qualification processes to ensure effective follow-up and deal closure.
- Create executive-level reports that highlight team performance, market trends, and strategic insights.
- Continuously evaluate and improve internal workflows to increase efficiency and productivity.
Must-haves
- At least 5 years of experience in sales, including a minimum of 2 years in a leadership or management role within a digital-first organization.
- Proven experience leading teams based in Singapore.
- Deep expertise in the corporate foreign exchange industry, specifically regarding spots, forwards, and options.
- Strong proficiency with CRM systems like Salesforce or HubSpot and other digital sales enablement tools.
- Professional background within the payments, fintech, or financial services sectors.
- Exceptional communication skills and an analytical mindset capable of making data-driven decisions.
- A results-oriented approach with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Nice-to-haves
- Current registration under the MAS Representative Notification Framework.
- Previous experience managing teams in Hong Kong.
