We are looking for a dedicated Manager of Information Technology to join our team in a full-time, on-site capacity at our headquarters in Austin, Texas. At ICON, we are committed to making dignified housing accessible to everyone and advancing humanity through our innovative technology. In this role, you will lead our Digital Infrastructure function, ensuring our team has the robust technical support necessary to achieve our mission while reporting directly to the Director of Facilities and Infrastructure.
Responsibilities
- Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing team of IT professionals, providing guidance and development as our organization continues to scale.
- Oversee the full lifecycle of IT operations, including managing budgets, purchasing, hardware and software provisioning, and maintaining essential system documentation.
- Collaborate across departments to implement secure, scalable infrastructure solutions, including managing network environments, cloud systems, and information security initiatives.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in IT within fast-paced, high-growth environments, with a minimum of 2 years in a management or leadership role.
- Comprehensive technical knowledge of networking, including LAN, WAN, SD-WAN, and VPNs, as well as proficiency in cloud and on-premise infrastructure.
- Strong project management capabilities and the ability to build business cases for infrastructure investments, paired with a service-oriented mindset for supporting internal teams.
- A deep understanding of operating systems, SaaS, PaaS, and IaaS, along with experience in information security concepts like IAM, vulnerability management, and system compliance.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a preference for candidates holding industry-recognized IT or cybersecurity certifications.
