At Neogene, a part of the AstraZeneca Oncology R&D division, we are dedicated to following the science to pioneer new ways of treating, preventing, and modifying complex diseases. Our mission is to integrate advanced technology with scientific innovation to drive the next wave of breakthroughs for patients worldwide. We are currently looking for a Manager of Information Systems to join our team in an on-site capacity. In this role, you will provide critical consultative support for our IT infrastructure, ensuring our hardware, software, and network systems operate at the highest level of performance.
Key outcomes
- Provide hands-on support for daily administrative tasks, system maintenance, and internal application management while establishing clear escalation procedures.
- Design and maintain robust network and computer systems, including the configuration of Group Policy, DHCP, and DNS within both physical and virtual environments.
- Oversee Cisco hardware platforms and WAN technologies, including routing, switching, firewalls, and VPNs, to ensure optimal connectivity and security.
- Manage enterprise IT systems such as Linux and Windows servers, NetApp storage, and Active Directory, ensuring all hardware and software meet strict GxP and cGMP compliance standards.
- Maintain 99% uptime for security infrastructure, including firewalls and multifactor authentication, while proactively mitigating vulnerabilities.
- Architect network solutions to support business applications and utilize tools like AWS and Azure to manage cloud-based infrastructure.
- Oversee endpoint security and configuration management through Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager to ensure compliance with industry regulations.
- Automate routine tasks using PowerShell and PowerBI, and manage internal documentation portals like SharePoint.
- Conduct security investigations, vulnerability scans, and code reviews to protect our environment from emerging threats.
Requirements
- A Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Five years of professional experience in roles such as IT Manager, Security Engineer, or Systems and Network Engineer.
- At least three years of specific experience with cloud platforms like AWS or Azure, Linux administration, Active Directory, and managing LAN/WAN and cybersecurity architectures.
- Proficiency in English and the ability to travel domestically approximately 10% of the time.
Compensation
The anticipated salary range for this position is $221,000 to $231,000.
