Manager, Information Systems at Neogene Therapeutics

Position Summary

Neogene is seeking a Manager, Information Systems to provide direct consultative support on information technology-based systems, primarily in the areas of hardware resources, application software, and network support. 

Responsibilities

• Provide direct consultative support on information technology-based systems, primarily in the areas of hardware resources, application software, and network support. 
• Create and manage escalation procedures, ensure service levels are maintained, and provide “hands-on” user support for day-to-day administration, maintenance, and support of internal applications.  
• Define and manage Neogene’s computer and network systems, which include software, hardware, and network problems with its solutions. Create and troubleshoot Group Policy, DHCP, and DNS, in both physical and virtual environments based on the preferences of Neogene.  
• Develop and maintain Cisco hardware platforms, switching, routing (including EIGRP, BGP), IOS, IPv4, IPv6, TCP, cabling infrastructure, firewalls, remote access systems, wireless, MPLS, VRF, VPN, multicast, WAN acceleration, wide area networking technologies, DNS/DHCP/NTP (Infoblox), authentication technologies, 802.1x, spanning-tree, layer 2 security, RADIUS/TACACS/ISE, QoS, and F5 load-balancing.  
• Manage IT systems such as Windows and Linux server systems, NetApp Storage arrays, clustering, information security, PKI, Active Directory, multi-tiered application architecture and support applications/protocols when accessed through VPN and firewall appliances. Manage various IT and business-related systems (i.e., QMS, Regulatory systems, Research Applications, etc.), with cGMP or GxP. Qualify and validate all hardware and software per GxP guidelines.  
• Increase reliability and establish 99% uptime of Security devices including Firewalls, IPS/IDS, SSL and Site to Site VPN, and multifactor appliances to meet SLA for optimal performance of infrastructure.   

• Establish network architecture best suited to support business applications and produce monthly metric reports on network performance. Solve technological challenges in administration of hardware and software solutions like, Amazon web Services (AWS) and Microsoft Azure. Implement AWS technologies like Amazon EC2, design virtual private cloud (VPCs), Gateways and security groups.  
• Manage the day-to-day activities for the enterprise's desktop including desktop, servers, and mobility. Manage and support the Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (MECM) enterprise infrastructure ensuring quality, accuracy, security, and precision in all known configurations.  
• Develop and enforce endpoint security policies, standards, and configurations to ensure compliance with industry regulations and Neogene security best practices. Participate in disaster recovery testing, capacity planning, performance monitoring, and maintenance to ensure high availability.  
• Create, design and manage Internal SharePoint portal for Qualified and Non-Qualified doc repository. Automate various tasks with PowerShell and PowerBI tools. Perform vulnerability scans using Tenable and understanding Real-Time Vulnerability. Perform security audits, risk analysis, application-level vulnerability testing, and security code reviews.  
• Develop and implement technical solutions to help mitigate security vulnerabilities and conduct research to identify new attack vectors. Conduct investigations in CrowdStrike Falcon Console by proactively finding adversary activity that may not be detected by the Falcon Console. Develop and oversee the creation of design documents, SOPs, test scripts, user acceptance testing, user documentation, production support documentation, and other relevant deliverables for various applications supporting functional business units.  
• Work on FDA/GxP-validated systems, including 21 CFR Part 11 and applicable regulations, guidance, and compliance requirements related to computerized systems. 

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Information Technology, or related field and five (5) years of experience as Systems and Network Engineer, Security Engineer, IT Manager, or closely related role in information technology and end user services. 
• Of the five (5) years of experience, three (3) years of experience using Cloud application services such as AWS, Azure, or Office 365; utilizing enterprise applications, tools, and operating systems such as Linux Administration, Azure Active Directory, or MS Endpoint Manager; managing ISP Architecture, LAN/WAN design and implementation, firewall implementation, and cybersecurity technologies. 
• Travel: 10% domestic travel required 

The anticipated salary range for candidates who will work in Santa Monica, CA is $221,000 to $231,000.
