We are looking for a dedicated leader to join our team in Austin, Texas, as a Manager of Information Security and Compliance. Our organization focuses on maintaining robust security standards within the utility sector, ensuring that our infrastructure remains resilient and fully compliant with industry regulations. If you are passionate about protecting critical systems and guiding a high-performing team, we would love to have you on board for this full-time, permanent role.

What you'll be doing

You will provide direct leadership and guidance to our Operational Technology Security and Compliance team, ensuring everyone is aligned with our security goals.
You will take charge of our core security solutions, which include managing patch cycles, password protocols, system configurations, and comprehensive logging.
You will oversee daily system monitoring to verify the integrity and availability of our hardware and server resources, while also managing the team's on-call schedule to ensure constant coverage.

What you'll bring

You have at least 5 years of experience in a management role focused on information security and compliance.
You possess over 10 years of hands-on experience with security functions like access management, threat and vulnerability management, and security monitoring.
You are comfortable working with teams that operate in 24/7 shifts and have strong communication skills to document procedures effectively.
It is a significant advantage if you have previous experience supporting NERC CIP compliance requirements.
You are committed to providing excellent service and maintaining high standards for system integrity.
