Role at a glance
We are seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to lead the teams responsible for building our flagship product, Starburst Enterprise. This is a full-time, remote position available to candidates anywhere in the world. You will play a pivotal role in guiding our engineering efforts, ensuring we continue to deliver high-quality, innovative solutions to our customers.
Your impact
- Lead and inspire one or more teams of software engineers to build a world-class customer experience for our enterprise users.
- Partner with product and engineering leadership to execute our roadmap and maintain a high standard of quality throughout the development lifecycle.
- Mentor and coach engineers at every level, from junior team members to technical leads, while driving our recruiting and onboarding efforts.
What you'll need
- At least 3 years of experience in engineering management, with a minimum of 8 years of total professional experience.
- A strong background in agile software development and a passion for building diverse, high-performing teams.
- Technical familiarity with our stack, including Java, React, and Spark.
- Proven success in managing remote or hybrid teams and a commitment to shipping reliable, maintainable software.
- Excellent communication skills in English and a proactive approach to solving complex technical challenges.
