The role

We are seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to join our team in India on a full-time, on-site basis. This is a leadership position for a seasoned professional who is ready to balance high-level strategic management with hands-on technical contributions. You will be instrumental in driving technical excellence, mentoring our engineering talent, and ensuring we continue to deliver robust, scalable solutions for our global customer base.

Core responsibilities

• Align engineering initiatives with our broader organizational goals to drive innovation and measurable business results.
• Cultivate a cohesive, collaborative team environment that prioritizes open communication and high-quality project delivery.
• Actively contribute to software development for approximately 50% of your time while maintaining features for our cloud-based customers.

Skills and experience

To be successful in this role, you should bring a strong technical background and a proven ability to lead diverse teams. We are looking for the following qualifications:

• A degree in computer science or a related engineering field.
• At least 10 years of software development experience, with a focus on new features and REST interfaces.
• A minimum of 1 year of experience managing teams with diverse skill sets, including backend, frontend, and DevOps.
• At least 3 years of experience working with SQL and NoSQL databases.
• At least 1 year of cloud development experience, preferably using Azure, including microservices, service buses, and containers.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as C#, Java, and Angular.
• Experience with tools and platforms like Kubernetes, Docker, Microsoft Visual Studio, and Azure DevOps.
• Strong leadership abilities and a passion for mentoring others.
