What you'll be doing
- Lead the full software development lifecycle, from gathering requirements and planning releases to overseeing design, implementation, and delivery of high-quality products on schedule and within budget.
- Guide the engineering team by conducting design and code reviews, mentoring developers, and ensuring that technical decisions align with both customer needs and long-term product strategy.
- Collaborate closely with marketing, business development, and other engineering groups while also working directly with customers to troubleshoot issues and translate real-world feedback into actionable software improvements.
What you'll bring
We are looking for a senior leader with at least seven years of hands-on software development experience and three or more years managing engineering teams. You hold a bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, systems engineering, or a related field, and a master’s degree is preferred. You bring deep expertise in C++ and Python, along with strong project-management skills that consistently deliver results on time and within scope.
Additional strengths include familiarity with Docker, deep learning frameworks, perception algorithms for 3D point clouds, and knowledge of intelligent transportation systems. Excellent critical-thinking, problem-solving, and communication abilities in English round out the profile we seek.
What you'll get
The salary range for this position is $180,000-$250,000.
