We are looking for a dedicated leader to join our team as a Manager of Cyber Resilience and Offensive Security. At EQBank, we are committed to maintaining a robust security posture, and this role is central to our mission of protecting our infrastructure through proactive testing and advanced threat simulation. You will play a vital part in shaping how we identify vulnerabilities and strengthen our defenses, working in a hybrid environment based in Canada to ensure our systems remain resilient against evolving cyber threats.
What you'll be doing
- You will design and execute our comprehensive Cyber Resilience Testing program, which includes leading red team exercises and complex cyber threat simulations.
- You will provide critical input on the effectiveness of our enterprise cyber security controls and help prioritize our strategic cyber roadmap.
- You will drive cross-functional collaboration across the organization, providing technical guidance to your team while acting as a subject matter expert for our key stakeholders.
What you'll bring
To be successful in this role, you should possess a strong background in information security and a passion for offensive security strategies. We are looking for the following qualifications:
- A university degree or college diploma in computer science or a related field, or equivalent industry-recognized certifications like the CISSP.
- At least 7 years of technical IT experience, with a minimum of 3 to 5 years specifically dedicated to offensive security roles.
- Deep knowledge of cyber control testing frameworks, specifically the MITRE Framework.
- Strong proficiency in engineering and security automation.
- Professional fluency in English.
- Highly preferred certifications include the OSCP, OSCE, GPEN, GXPN, CEH, CISSP, or CISM.
- Excellent analytical skills, a strategic mindset, and the ability to manage teams while fostering strong relationships with stakeholders.
