What is this role?

We are looking for a Senior Machine Learning Engineer to join our team on a full-time basis. This is an on-site role based in the United Kingdom. You will be a vital part of our engineering efforts, taking ownership of our machine learning infrastructure and helping us bridge the gap between experimental algorithms and real-world, life-saving products.

What will you do?

• Take full ownership of our machine learning infrastructure by developing and maintaining scalable pipelines that handle large-scale, real-time data within AWS and Snowflake.
• Collaborate directly with our Product Design and Engineering team to translate complex algorithms into user-facing features and services that provide tangible value to patients and clinicians.
• Orchestrate end-to-end workflows using tools like Apache Airflow and Kubernetes, ensuring our models are tested, monitored, and performant in a production environment.

To succeed in this role, you should have a strong grasp of computer science fundamentals and a deep understanding of machine learning concepts. Because our work impacts patient health, we need someone who is exceptionally detail-oriented and capable of managing mission-critical systems. You should be a clear communicator who can bridge the gap between technical and non-technical stakeholders. While prior experience in the healthcare sector is not required, it is certainly a welcome bonus.
