At Circadia Health, we are on a mission to transform patient care with the world's first FDA-cleared, contactless remote patient monitoring system. Our technology uses advanced AI to detect critical medical events like falls, pneumonia, and heart failure before they escalate. We currently monitor over 28,000 lives every day, and we are looking for passionate, solution-focused people to help us grow and continue saving lives.
What is this role?
We are looking for a Senior Machine Learning Engineer to join our team on a full-time basis. This is an on-site role based in the United Kingdom. You will be a vital part of our engineering efforts, taking ownership of our machine learning infrastructure and helping us bridge the gap between experimental algorithms and real-world, life-saving products.
What will you do?
- Take full ownership of our machine learning infrastructure by developing and maintaining scalable pipelines that handle large-scale, real-time data within AWS and Snowflake.
- Collaborate directly with our Product Design and Engineering team to translate complex algorithms into user-facing features and services that provide tangible value to patients and clinicians.
- Orchestrate end-to-end workflows using tools like Apache Airflow and Kubernetes, ensuring our models are tested, monitored, and performant in a production environment.
What makes you a great fit?
To succeed in this role, you should have a strong grasp of computer science fundamentals and a deep understanding of machine learning concepts. Because our work impacts patient health, we need someone who is exceptionally detail-oriented and capable of managing mission-critical systems. You should be a clear communicator who can bridge the gap between technical and non-technical stakeholders. We value a growth mindset, meaning you are curious, resilient when facing setbacks, and always eager to learn from your experiences. While prior experience in the healthcare sector is not required, it is certainly a welcome bonus.
What's in it for you?
We offer a supportive environment where your work directly contributes to improving patient outcomes. Our benefits package includes:
- Private medical insurance for you and your family, including wellness programs and access to discounted gym memberships.
- 28 days of paid annual leave, inclusive of bank holidays.
- A dedicated learning budget to cover personal development courses, certifications, and conference attendance.
- Flexible and hybrid working arrangements to help you balance your personal and professional life.
- A choice of a new laptop to use at home or at our London Bridge office.
- Regular team events, lunches, and company retreats to foster a collaborative culture.
