Having already provided over $74 billion in coverage, we are looking for a Senior Machine Learning Engineer to join our team and help us continue to innovate in this space. This is a full-time, remote position available to residents of AZ, CA, CO, CT, FL, GA, KS, MA, MD, MN, NC, NH, NJ, NV, NY, OH, OR, PA, TX, WA, and WI.
Key outcomes
- Design, develop, tune, and deploy machine learning models that enhance our life insurance products and customer experience.
- Partner with data scientists and engineers to construct and maintain robust data pipelines and infrastructure.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business needs and translate them into effective machine learning solutions.
- Monitor the performance of deployed models, making adjustments as needed to ensure accuracy and reliability.
- Stay informed on the latest research and industry trends to drive technical innovation across our platform.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of professional experience in machine learning, with a focus on building and launching production-ready models.
- 3+ years of software development experience, including a strong grasp of data structures and algorithms.
- A Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or an equivalent technical field.
- Proficiency in relevant technologies, such as Python, BigQuery, and machine learning frameworks.
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
Preferred qualifications
- Experience working in highly regulated industries such as insurance, finance, healthcare, or pharmaceuticals.
- Advanced degrees, such as an MS or PhD, in Computer Science or a related technical discipline.
- Full-stack development experience with exposure to front-end frameworks.
Compensation
The target base salary range for this position is $125,000 to $168,000 per year. In addition to base pay, we offer a comprehensive benefits package designed to support your well-being and long-term success, including:
