What you bring

We are looking for a Senior Machine Learning Engineer to join our team on a full-time, remote basis. You will play a pivotal role in advancing our content understanding, search, and recommendation capabilities while working from anywhere within the U.S. time zones, specifically PST plus or minus three hours. Your primary responsibilities will include:

• Staying current with the latest academic and industry research to apply cutting-edge techniques to our search and recommendation systems.
• Developing efficient algorithms and running experiments to optimize the quality of our deep learning models.
• Owning the entire machine learning lifecycle, from the initial concept and systematic evaluation to successful deployment for our customers.

Requirements

The ideal candidate possesses an MS or PhD in Machine Learning, Natural Language Processing, Computer Science, or a related field, supported by five to eight years of professional experience. You should have deep expertise in deep learning, natural language processing, and domain adaptation. We require strong proficiency in Python, Go, PyTorch, TensorFlow, and AWS cloud services. A solid understanding of Unix, TCP/IP networking, storage performance, and concurrency is essential. Beyond technical skills, we value individuals who demonstrate strong ownership, navigate ambiguity with ease, and foster meaningful relationships through open communication and a commitment to continuous feedback.
