Machine Learning Engineer at Cognitiv

We are currently seeking a highly motivated Machine Learning Engineer to join our Features Generation team on a full-time basis. In this role, you will be instrumental in designing, developing, and deploying the next generation of intelligent, scalable, and production-grade feature pipelines that power the core of our data science and machine learning systems. This position is based in the United States and follows a hybrid work model.

Responsibilities

• Design, prototype, and demonstrate the value of new features for use in our models.
• Build engineering systems and pipelines to generate and update features in production while meeting strict service level agreements.
• Develop the necessary tooling and processes to monitor the health and performance of the systems and features our team builds.

Requirements

We are looking for a candidate who brings the following qualifications to our team:

• At least 3 years of experience working as a Machine Learning Engineer or in a similar technical capacity.
• Expert proficiency in Python and Java, as well as SQL.
• Extensive experience managing big data at a terabyte scale or larger.
• Proven ability to collaborate effectively with data and research scientists.
• Hands-on experience with orchestration frameworks like Airflow and cloud environments such as AWS.
• Deep familiarity with the Python data science ecosystem, including NumPy, SciPy, scikit-learn, and Jupyter.
• Experience maintaining always-on production services.
