We are Marker Learning, a mission-driven startup that uses proprietary AI technology to make learning disability assessments faster, more affordable, and widely available to schools and families. One in five students has a learning difference such as dyslexia, yet only four percent receive a proper diagnosis; our platform is changing that by delivering clinically valid evaluations in a fraction of the usual time. We are now hiring a Senior Machine Learning Engineer to join us on a full-time, remote basis and help expand the reach of our assessment tools.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and deploy machine learning models that power our next-generation assessment tools and methodologies.
- Partner with data scientists and psychometricians to weave advanced AI techniques into the development of reliable, standardized psychometric tests.
- Integrate large language models and other natural language processing solutions into production systems, ensuring they remain scalable, performant, and clinically sound.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a closely related field.
- At least four years of hands-on experience developing and deploying machine learning models in live production environments.
- Strong command of core machine learning algorithms, deep learning architectures, and natural language processing methods.
- Proficiency in Python and the ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical colleagues.
