Sahara AI is building a decentralized platform that centers on the sovereignty and provenance of artificial intelligence. Our mission is to ensure that AI remains secure, equitable, and accessible for everyone. We are supported by prominent investors including Binance Labs, Pantera Capital, Polychain Capital, Sequoia Capital, Samsung, and Matrix Partners. Currently, our technology is utilized by over 35 major tech innovators and research institutions, such as Microsoft, Amazon, MIT, Motherson Group, and Snap. Sahara Labs, our parent organization, is led by USC Professor Sean Ren and former Binance Labs investment director Tyler Zhou. We are looking for a Senior Machine Learning Engineer to join our remote, full-time team and help us advance the future of decentralized AI.
Key outcomes
- Design and refine intelligent agents powered by large language models.
- Refine prompting strategies in collaboration with the team to enhance overall agent performance.
- Identify and resolve complex technical challenges while establishing standardized methodologies for agent development.
- Work alongside large language model providers to drive improvements in model performance.
- Maintain a deep understanding of emerging trends and breakthroughs within the artificial intelligence and machine learning landscape.
Requirements
- A Bachelor's degree in computer science or a closely related discipline.
- A solid grasp of large models, combined with a genuine passion for exploration and innovation.
- Strong programming proficiency and a firm foundation in algorithms.
- Excellent communication skills and a proven ability to thrive in a collaborative team environment.
- The capacity to perform effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic setting.
- Fluency in English.
Preferred qualifications
- Practical experience working on projects related to large language models and agent applications.
- Background in fields such as intelligent customer service, natural language understanding, or virtual human development.
- A strong sense of product design and user experience.
