The role

We are looking for a Senior Machine Learning Engineer to join us on a contractor basis. This is a hybrid role, and we require candidates to be based in or willing to relocate to Czechia or Slovakia, as we value the opportunity to collaborate in person at our Prague office. You will be instrumental in designing and deploying sophisticated models that directly impact our users, working within a high-growth environment where your technical expertise will help shape our future.

Core responsibilities

• Design and refine NLP models for specialized tasks, including medical summarization, credibility analysis, and contradiction detection.
• Enhance our automatic transcription pipelines and drive the automation of internal workflows using advanced AI.
• Partner with our full-stack engineering team to integrate machine learning models into production, ensuring system stability, high accuracy, and robust infrastructure monitoring.

Skills and experience

To be successful in this role, you should have a strong foundation in both machine learning and software engineering. We are looking for the following qualifications:

• At least 3 years of professional experience in machine learning, specifically with end-to-end project ownership.
• Advanced proficiency with PyTorch or similar modeling toolkits and a deep understanding of deep learning techniques.
• Strong expertise in NLP, with a background in ASR considered a significant advantage.
• Practical experience working with Python, React, TypeScript, Kubernetes, and AWS.
• Excellent communication skills in English and a collaborative, independent problem-solving mindset.
