The opportunity

We are seeking a Machine Learning Engineer to join our team in Plano, Texas, on a hybrid basis. This is a chance to work on challenging, non-trivial problems that directly influence our company's success. You will be an integral part of our engineering group, using advanced statistical techniques and machine learning to develop next-generation products. A day in the life

• You will collaborate within an Agile Scrum environment to prototype, design, and implement predictive models that solve real-world challenges.
• You will manage the entire modeling lifecycle, from cleaning data and creating features to performing iterative model selection and validation.
• You will write clean, maintainable code while staying current with the latest research methodologies to continuously improve our existing systems.

Who you are

You are a motivated engineer with at least 1.5 years of hands-on corporate experience in machine learning. You are comfortable working independently and take pride in owning your projects from start to finish. Your background includes the following skills and qualifications:

• Proficiency in Python and experience with TensorFlow or PyTorch.
• A strong foundation in NLP, algorithm design, and complexity analysis.
• A desire to work in a cloud environment, with experience in AWS or Azure being a significant advantage.
• Excellent communication skills in English and the ability to work empathetically within a team.
• Bonus points if you have experience with C++ or Rust and have previously deployed machine learning pipelines into production.
