Responsibilities
- Conduct experiments on advanced machine learning models using TensorFlow to solve real-world, large-scale problems.
- Design and improve data pipelines for training and serving models, utilizing Google Cloud tools like Apache Beam, Dataflow, BigQuery, and BigTable.
- Develop machine learning productivity tools, deploy them within Kubernetes environments, and support model engineers in their adoption.
- Contribute as a full member of your team, taking on responsibilities and project opportunities similar to those of a junior engineer.
Must-haves
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor's, Master’s, or PhD program in Computer Science or a related technical field, with plans to return to school after the internship.
- For Bachelor's or Master's students, an expected graduation date no later than June 2026.
- Availability to work on-site at our Redwood City, California office during the summer of 2025, specifically from May through September.
- Proficiency in at least one programming language.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a solid foundation in data structures and algorithms.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience or familiarity with distributed systems or databases.
