What is this role?
We are seeking an Executive-level Machine Learning Computer Vision Engineer to join our team on a full-time, remote basis. This is a foundational role where you will help shape our strategy and build a world-class team focused on enhancing our 3D dental platform. You will have the freedom to innovate while solving complex, industry-wide challenges from anywhere in the world.
What will you do?
- Design and implement sophisticated computer vision models to extract meaningful structure from complex, unstructured 3D scans.
- Conduct research into state-of-the-art methods for 3D generative AI and conventional computer vision tasks to automate human-driven manufacturing processes.
- Collaborate closely with product and research teams to identify technical improvements and deliver high-value features to our customers.

To succeed in this role, you should be a seasoned professional with a deep technical background and a passion for solving ambiguous problems. We are looking for the following qualifications:
- An advanced degree, specifically a Master’s or PhD in a related technical field.
- Significant professional experience, including at least 10 years post-Master’s or 8 years post-PhD in machine learning.
- Expertise in Python and PyTorch.
- Strong proficiency in 3D geometric computer vision and state-of-the-art 2D or 3D deep learning techniques.
- The ability to collaborate effectively during US Eastern Standard Time working hours.
- A commitment to excellence, meticulous attention to detail, and a focus on delivering high-quality code.
