Are you ready to shape the future of customer experience? At Magnify, we leverage cutting-edge AI, machine learning, and large-scale data architectures to transform how software companies interact with their users. As a venture-track startup, we are building a post-sales orchestration platform that delivers actionable intelligence through advanced agentic workflows. We are looking for a visionary leader to join us early on and help turn complex challenges into elegant, automated solutions.
Role at a glance
We are seeking a Machine Learning Applied Scientist Tech Lead to join our team in a full-time capacity. This is a lead-level position that requires a balance of high-level strategy and hands-on technical execution. You will work in a hybrid environment based in the United States, collaborating closely with a team dedicated to pushing the boundaries of what is possible in software development.
Your impact
- Translate complex business requirements into high-impact science solutions by designing and deploying robust machine learning models.
- Take full ownership of the development lifecycle, moving projects from initial prototypes and designs to fully tested, monitored, and production-ready code.
- Lead the creation of agentic workflows and automated systems that provide unique insights to our customers.
What you'll need
We value pragmatic problem solvers who thrive in the ambiguity of a startup. To succeed in this role, you should have:
- A PhD or Master’s degree in a quantitative field such as Engineering, Computer Science, Statistics, or Mathematics, combined with relevant research or industry experience.
- At least 7 years of experience in applied science and software development, ideally within high-growth SaaS environments.
- Deep expertise in Python, statistical analysis, and the development of predictive or optimization models.
- A proven track record of building and maintaining production-grade ML pipelines and infrastructure.
- Familiarity with LLMs, Generative AI, and agentic workflows.
- Exceptional communication skills in English, with the ability to explain complex metrics to technical and non-technical stakeholders alike.
- A strong bias for action and the ability to discern when to move quickly and when to apply deeper technical rigor.
Perks and compensation
We are committed to supporting our team members both professionally and personally. Benefits for this role include:
- Hybrid work flexibility to help you balance your professional and personal life.
- The opportunity to be an early hire at a venture-track company with significant growth potential.
