About the Role
We are hiring a Low-Level C++ Performance Engineer for a full-time, on-site position. In this role, you will focus on optimizing the performance of our critical trading infrastructure. You will work across the entire stack, ensuring our systems remain fast, stable, and reliable in a competitive global market.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and enhance performance-critical C++ applications to achieve ultra-low latency and high throughput.
- Partner with FPGA engineers and hardware specialists to push the limits of our system performance.
- Build and maintain sophisticated tools to profile, monitor, and analyze system performance at every level.
Requirements
- A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 2 years of professional experience with C++, specifically focused on high-performance applications.
- A deep understanding of data structures, algorithms, and modern C++ standards like C++17 and C++20.
- Proven ability in multi-threaded programming and performance tuning.
- Strong communication skills and a drive to make things better through constant improvement and innovation.
Location
This role is based in the United States.
Compensation and Benefits
The total compensation range for this position is $140,000 to $200,000, which includes a base salary and an annual discretionary bonus. We offer a comprehensive benefits package to support our employees, including:
