We are a fast-growing, people-first organization based in Grand Rapids, and we are looking for a tech-savvy individual to join our team as a Level 1 IT Support Technician. Role at a glance
This is a full-time, on-site position based in our Grand Rapids office. As a junior-level technician, you will serve as the first point of contact for our team, ensuring that our daily operations run smoothly by providing essential technical support and troubleshooting.
Your impact
- Act as the frontline support for hardware, software, and peripheral issues, including troubleshooting Microsoft Office, docking stations, and input devices.
- Manage user access and system health by handling password resets and assisting with the administration of Windows and macOS environments.
- Document all support tickets and resolutions in our tracking system while determining when to escalate complex issues to senior team members.
What you'll need
- A solid grasp of computer hardware, peripherals, and general troubleshooting techniques.
- Working knowledge of Windows and macOS operating systems, along with proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain technical solutions to users of all experience levels.
- A professional demeanor, ideally supported by experience in a help desk or customer service environment.
- Preferred qualifications include a CompTIA A+ certification, familiarity with Active Directory, and previous experience in an enterprise setting or the logistics industry.
- Fluency in English is required.
