What you bring

We are seeking a Lead System Support Engineer to join our team in Lausanne, Switzerland on a full-time basis. In this leadership role, you will oversee a team of engineers who maintain our camera, live data processing, and delivery systems. You will be the primary point of contact for technical troubleshooting during live sporting events, ensuring our services run smoothly under pressure. Your core responsibilities will include:

• Leading and mentoring a team of on-site support engineers, which includes managing schedules, performance, and team morale.
• Coordinating incident responses to minimize service disruptions during live events.
• Performing root cause analysis on technical issues using Unix, SQL, AWS, Docker, Kibana, and Grafana.

Requirements

The ideal candidate is a self-starter with at least five years of technical experience and a strong background in managing technical teams. You should be comfortable working in Windows or Unix environments and possess the ability to diagnose complex systems under tight deadlines. Because our work revolves around live sporting events, you must be available to work non-traditional hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. We value candidates who have excellent written communication skills, a knack for clear documentation, and a deep appetite for learning from every incident. Fluency in English is required for this role.
