What you bring

We are looking for a Lead Software Engineer to join our team on a full-time, on-site basis in India. You will be instrumental in shaping our data strategy, utilizing your expertise in SQL, Python, Java, AWS, and Apache Spark to build high-impact solutions. Your primary responsibilities will include:

• Leading and mentoring a team of engineers to maintain high technical standards and foster a culture of innovation.
• Designing, building, and optimizing scalable data pipelines and ETL processes to ensure high-quality data integration.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including data scientists and business stakeholders, to deliver solutions that meet complex business needs.

Requirements

The ideal candidate possesses a strong technical foundation combined with leadership experience. You should have at least five years of experience in data engineering, with at least two years in a senior or lead capacity. We require proficiency in SQL, Python, and Java, along with hands-on experience using AWS and large-scale processing frameworks like Apache Spark. A background in data warehousing, data modeling, and cloud-based architecture is essential. You must hold a degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Beyond technical skills, we value excellent problem-solving abilities, strong communication skills, and the capacity to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency in English is required for this role.
