The opportunity

We are looking for a Lead Software Engineer to join our team and help shape the core experiences for both bank administrators and their customers. In this role, you will be responsible for crafting seamless user flows, building robust APIs, and integrating with essential third-party software. You will play a pivotal role in our technical strategy, balancing the need for elegant, scalable solutions with the practical trade-offs inherent in complex system design.

A day in the life

• You will design and build core product features, ensuring every service is well-documented, thoroughly tested, and built for long-term performance.
• You will act as a technical mentor, providing code reviews and guidance to your teammates to help elevate the quality of our collective output.
• You will collaborate within an agile Scrum environment to break down complex product requirements into actionable, high-quality technical solutions.

Who you are

You are a seasoned engineer who thrives on solving complex problems and advocating for architectural excellence. You have a deep understanding of domain-driven design and microservice architecture, and you enjoy asking the right questions to uncover the best path forward. You are fluent in English and bring the following experience to our team:

• At least 6 years of professional experience working with front-end technologies like JavaScript, React, and Vue.
• At least 1 year of experience managing a team of two or more people.
• Strong proficiency with backend services, specifically NodeJS.
• Extensive experience working with REST APIs.
