What you bring

We are looking for a Lead Software Engineer to join our connected devices team on a full-time, hybrid basis within the United States. You will play a pivotal role in building the backbone technology for our IoT and smart city projects. Your primary responsibilities will include:

• Taking a technical leadership role to define features and drive team roadmaps.
• Designing scalable solutions for IoT environments where tens of thousands of devices connect simultaneously.
• Mentoring fellow engineers and participating in code reviews to ensure we maintain high standards for our distributed applications.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you should have 8 to 15 years of experience in software development, including at least 4 years in a technical leadership capacity. We are looking for someone with deep expertise in Python, TypeScript, React, Node.js, and AWS. You should be comfortable working across the full stack and possess a strong understanding of web technologies, HTTP, and WebSockets. Proficiency in Linux is essential, and experience with embedded devices or signage technology is a significant advantage. We value candidates who can translate complex business requirements into elegant, scalable solutions while maintaining a high level of code quality and system reliability.
