The role

We are looking for a Lead Software Engineer to join our team on a full-time, remote basis. This is a senior-level position where you will take ownership of our NFT business vertical. You will be responsible for scaling our web, data, and API infrastructure while guiding a team of engineers to build seamless experiences for our users. We are seeking a leader who is comfortable navigating complex blockchain data and is ready to drive technical strategy in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.

Core responsibilities

• Lead the development and scaling of our NFT business vertical, including indexing massive datasets and building user-facing applications for web and mobile.
• Define software architecture and lead the full development lifecycle, ensuring our systems can handle high-traffic demands on public cloud infrastructure like Amazon Web Services and Google Cloud.
• Mentor and coach engineering team members, conduct code reviews, and foster a culture of technical excellence, innovation, and professional growth.

Skills and experience

To be successful in this role, you should have 8 to 10 years of experience in software development with a proven track record of leading Agile or Scrum teams. We are looking for candidates who possess the following qualifications:

• Deep technical expertise in building complex, scalable applications and a solid understanding of the software development lifecycle.
• A strong grasp of the NFT ecosystem, including experience using blockchain explorers like Etherscan and mempool.space to analyze transactions.
• Proficiency in modern web technologies, with experience using Ruby on Rails, JavaScript, React, Postgres, and MongoDB.
• Exceptional communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including design, growth, and business operations.
• A passion for decentralized technology and a desire to solve high-impact problems within the cryptocurrency space.

Compensation and benefits

We believe in transparency and offer competitive compensation based on your location. For those based in Malaysia, the salary is RM18,938, and for those based in Singapore, the salary is SGD13,104.
