We are looking for a passionate Lead Software Engineer to join our Ordering Services team and help us build the next generation of our platform. Role at a glance
This is a full-time, lead-level position focused on our Orders Platform, covering everything from cart management to fraud detection. You will work in a hybrid capacity, and the role is open to candidates anywhere. You will play a vital role in shaping our technical roadmap while mentoring a talented team of engineers.
Your impact
- Lead the technical planning and execution for our Order Capture team, ensuring our systems are scalable and robust.
- Collaborate with other lead engineers to define our technical strategy with a 12 to 18 month outlook.
- Oversee the full development lifecycle, including system architecture, code quality, and the implementation of deployment pipelines that improve the overall developer experience.
What you'll need
- At least 7 years of professional software development experience, ideally backed by a B.S. in Computer Science or equivalent practical knowledge.
- Strong hands-on programming skills, with a strong preference for Python.
- Extensive experience designing and migrating complex distributed systems.
- A strategic mindset that balances short-term project needs with long-term technical vision.
- Effective communication skills to translate complex business problems into technical models for both engineering and leadership teams.
- Expertise in cart systems, payment gateways, and fraud detection mechanisms is considered a major plus.
- Fluency in English.
Perks and compensation
The annual salary range for this role is $135,408 to $227,850, depending on your geographic location and experience. In addition to base pay, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus and stock options. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including:
