About the Role

We are looking for a Lead Software Engineer to join our team on a full-time basis. In this position, you will be responsible for guiding the development, design, and optimization of our scalable applications. You will lead a squad of software and test engineers, ensuring that our solutions are robust and efficient. This role covers the entire development lifecycle, from initial planning and design to final deployment and ongoing maintenance, all while providing mentorship to a distributed team.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership and direct management to a squad of software engineers to ensure high-quality delivery.
• Collaborate within an agile environment to design, test, deploy, and scale software features that provide real value to our customers.
• Mentor and coach team members by offering professional development, technical advice, and educational opportunities to improve overall code quality.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and skills:

• At least 7 years of professional experience in software engineering.
• Demonstrated history of leading a full-stack engineering team.
• Strong expertise in software design, documentation, and engineering fundamentals.
• Proficiency in Test-Driven Development (TDD) and a commitment to writing clean, maintainable code.
• Technical proficiency with our core stack, which includes Java, Kotlin, Angular, React, AWS, and Springboot.
