Lead Software Engineer, Full Stack at Atomic

The opportunity

We are looking for a Lead Software Engineer to join our team in a full-time, remote capacity. In this role, you will be a cornerstone of our engineering efforts, taking ownership of the design, development, and architecture of our frontend applications. You will work within a technology-first environment, utilizing a cloud-native stack to build services that help individuals secure their financial future. A day in the life

• You will architect and develop high-quality frontend features while ensuring our applications remain scalable and performant.
• You will collaborate closely with product managers and UX designers to plan and execute solutions that deliver real value to our customers.
• You will apply your expertise in TypeScript and React to solve complex software challenges through elegant implementation and experimentation.

Who you are

You are a creative, autonomous, and curious engineer who thrives in a hard-working environment. We value candidates who bring strong fundamentals in data structures and algorithms and who are eager to make key architectural decisions. You should be comfortable communicating in English and possess the following qualifications:

• A degree in Computer Science or equivalent professional experience.
• At least 7 years of experience, ideally building customer-facing products.
• Deep expertise in TypeScript and React.
• Experience with UI/UX testing.
• A working knowledge of AWS is considered a significant plus.
• Prior experience in the financial industry is highly valued.
• Familiarity with our broader stack, including Go, is a bonus.
