We are looking for a Lead Software Engineer to join our Data Platform team and help us build the systems that power these critical initiatives.
What you'll be doing
- Design and maintain the robust pipelines, tooling, and processing engines that serve as the foundation for our healthcare applications.
- Collaborate closely with our data scientists and analysts to ensure our infrastructure is secure, auditable, and highly responsive to user needs.
- Mentor junior engineers and foster a collaborative environment where we prioritize peer review, code quality, and continuous learning.
What you'll bring
To succeed in this role, you should have at least 8 years of professional experience and a strong background in building production-hardened data systems. We are looking for someone who is comfortable working in a remote environment and communicates effectively in English. Your technical toolkit should include:
- Deep expertise in Hadoop and Spark for large-scale data processing.
- Proficiency with orchestration tools such as Airflow.
- Strong command of SQL and database fundamentals like indexing.
- Extensive experience managing production services and deployment processes within AWS.
What you'll get
