We are looking for a Lead Software Engineer, Backend to join our team in India on an on-site basis to help us build the future of travel and hospitality.
Responsibilities
- Design and build core modules across both our application and infrastructure layers.
- Lead, recruit, and nurture a high-performing team of engineers.
- Tackle complex architectural challenges, including database clustering, replication, and system design.
- Automate infrastructure and contribute to open-source libraries.
- Ensure the performance, scalability, and efficiency of our backend services.
- Drive projects from initial concept to final completion.
Must-haves
- At least 5 years of experience in server-side development.
- Strong grasp of computer science fundamentals, including data structures and algorithms.
- Proven experience with Spring, AWS, NoSQL, and Relational Databases.
- Deep understanding of concurrent programming and web communication protocols.
- Expertise in designing scalable, fault-tolerant systems and infrastructure.
- Excellent communication and people management skills.
- A commitment to writing modular, highly optimized, and scalable code.
- Fluency in English.
