The opportunity

We are looking for a Lead Software Development Engineer to join our domain search team. This is a strategic role that directly impacts our revenue, customer growth, and innovation across 42 markets worldwide. You will be a hands-on leader, spending roughly half of your time contributing to code and architecture while the other half is dedicated to guiding our team. You will help shape the future of our domain search experience, ensuring our tools remain intuitive and powerful for our global user base.

A day in the life

• You will develop, enhance, and optimize services that empower our internal customers while driving technical innovation and selecting the right frameworks for our roadmap.
• You will provide technical mentorship to your team, conducting architecture and code reviews while fostering a culture of operational excellence, automation, and high-quality output.
• You will establish and grow a team in India, collaborating closely with cross-functional partners and leaders across different time zones to ensure end-to-end performance and delivery.

Who you are

You are an experienced leader who understands what it takes to build and ship products at an internet scale. You possess a strong foundation in software design and are comfortable working in a fast-paced, agile environment.

• You have at least 5 years of experience building customer-facing products and 3 years of leadership or mentorship experience.
• You are proficient in programming languages such as Java, Python, or Go.
• You have a deep understanding of microservices, cloud computing, data structures, and algorithms.
• You communicate fluently in English and are comfortable collaborating with global teams.
• You are passionate about writing clean, testable, and reliable code.
