The opportunity
We are searching for a Lead Site Reliability Engineer to spearhead our infrastructure efforts in Costa Rica. In this role, you will be the driving force behind the optimization and architecture of our cloud systems. You will ensure our platforms remain secure, resilient, and highly efficient by enforcing industry-best practices. This is a strategic position where you will not only manage complex technical initiatives but also mentor team members and foster a culture of continuous improvement across our global organization.
A day in the life
- Architect and deliver robust, scalable SaaS solutions by leveraging Microsoft Azure and select Amazon AWS services to meet our growing demands.
- Design, implement, and optimize CI/CD pipelines to ensure our software delivery processes remain seamless, fast, and reliable.
- Apply your expertise in Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform and Ansible to build maintainable, scalable systems while collaborating with cross-functional teams to solve complex distributed system challenges.
Who you are
You are a senior-level professional with at least 7 years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering. You bring a deep understanding of cloud infrastructure optimization and a passion for building secure, high-performance environments. You are comfortable communicating in English and possess the following qualifications:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Proven expertise in SRE frameworks, network architecture, and security protocols, including experience with Content Delivery Networks like CloudFlare, WAF, and VPNs.
- A strong background in implementing Infrastructure as Code and a commitment to security standards such as OWASP.
- The ability to lead, mentor, and facilitate knowledge-sharing sessions to help your colleagues grow.
- Bonus points if you have experience with Python scripting, Datadog monitoring, or Atlassian tools.
