Lead QA Engineer at Dadavidson

We are seeking a Lead QA Engineer to join our team on a full-time, remote basis. At D.A. In this role you will lead quality assurance efforts across our software products, guiding test strategy and ensuring that every release meets rigorous standards within our Agile development process.

Responsibilities

• Drive the software quality assurance lifecycle within our Agile process by establishing test strategies in coordination with development and product teams.
• Design and implement comprehensive test plans and test cases while mentoring QA team members, setting goals, and delegating testing responsibilities.
• Contribute to the maintenance and enhancement of web and mobile test automation frameworks, develop automated UI and functional tests, and help strengthen our CI flows to embed quality assurance throughout development.

Requirements

• BS or MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent professional experience.
• At least five years of experience as a Software Development Engineer in Test in a production environment, with demonstrated proficiency in mobile or web application testing.
• Strong programming skills in NodeJS, HTML, Python, or JavaScript, along with extensive hands-on experience using Selenium WebDriver or Tosca.
• Familiarity with testing frameworks such as TestNG, Jest, or Cucumber, comfort working with Git and CI processes in Jira, and solid knowledge of SQL databases.
• Excellent written English communication, keen attention to detail, and the ability to diagnose complex issues while proactively planning projects and gathering requirements.
• Self-starter mindset with proven problem-solving skills and the capacity to address issues in a timely manner; leadership experience, native mobile testing frameworks, and micro-services architecture knowledge are considered a plus.
